Public Review of High School ELD Targeted Support and Improvement Plan
Posted on April 4, 2024
Manheim Township School District (MTSD) was notified by the Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) that a group of our students performed below state-established thresholds on state assessments. The state assessment data designated Manheim Township High School as a school for Targeted Support and Improvement (TSI). The PDE uses TSI designations as an early warning system to be sure that building-level school improvement plans are developed and put into place to ensure that at-risk student groups demonstrate positive student outcomes.
MTSD is committed to providing all students with the instruction and support needed to be successful. The district has developed a school improvement plan focused on the attendance and the growth and achievement of our English Learners. The school improvement plan has been developed in alignment with the district’s comprehensive plan and will provide direction for efforts to further develop attendance strategies and effective strategies for the instruction of our English Learners at MTHS.
This document is open to the public and can be reviewed at the Manheim Township School District Office, Manheim Township High School Office, Manheim Township Public Library. This targeted support and improvement plan can also be view by clicking here.
