Each month we will take a look at all of the fun things our “Hoppers” are doing at Reidenbaugh. This month our Third Grade students have been very busy! They have been learning about plant structures and adaptations in Science class where they were able to design their own seed structures to be dispersed by the wind and plants that have adapted to specific environments.
In Social Studies the students have studied Ancient China and Egypt. They have had some very cool experiences using Augmented and Virtual Reality where the students are able to bring Chinese and Egyptian artifacts to life through the use of their iPads.
Third grade students also have been researching a hero that they will bring to life at the annual Wax Museum at the end of the month. Of course, they will have to write their 3-paragraph report before these characters come to life.
Our field trip to Indian Echo Caverns is coming up, along with all of the other fun May activities.
