Happy March and almost Spring Reidenbaugh Hoppers! Let’s hope the Spring temperatures are on the way. We have many fun activities planned during the month of March for you to enjoy.

Due to the snow day on February 20th, we will be having school on March 29th.

 

Important Dates

3/4-3/8 – Reidenbaugh’s Literacy Olympics

3/5 – PTO Meeting – RM 104 @7:00PM

3/7 – School Musical – Auditorium @7:00PM (Tickets must be purchased in advanced)

3/8 – School Musical – Auditorium @7:00PM (Tickets must be purchased in advanced)

3/9 – School Musical – Auditorium @2:00PM (Tickets must be purchased in advanced)

3/20-3/27- Book Fair

3/22 – 3rd and 4th Grade Books for Breakfast – 8:15-8:45PM – Invite only when packet is complete

3/27 – Open House/ Art Show / Culture Night/ Bookfair @ 6:00-8:00PM

Classrooms will be open from 6:30-7:30PM

3/28 – Early Dismissal @ 1:40PM

Reidenbaugh’s Literacy Olympics – Below is a list of the different themes that we will be having next week for Reidenbaugh’s Literacy Olympics. We are so excited to see all of our Hoppers creativity this week!

Monday – Cat in the Hat Day: Wear your favorite hat.

Tuesday – Favorite “Book” Character Dress-up Day: Students may come dressed as their favorite character from a book. This is an at home assignment, be creative and have some fun celebrating with your child.

Wednesday – Tours of Doors and Fox in Socks: Classrooms will decorate their doors to show their love of reading. Students may wear crazy socks.

Thursday- Thing One and Thing Two: Grab a friend and dress up as twins.

Friday- Green Eggs and Ham Day: Wear Green

 

School Musical – This year our amazing Hoppers will be performing Annie Jr. We are so proud of how hard our students, volunteers, and Mrs. Parker have been working! If you are able to come see the show please make sure to purchase your tickets in advance as shows are already selling out.

 

Hershey Park Tickets – We are selling Hersheypark tickets at a discounted rate. Please make sure to turn in your form by Friday, March 15. Extra forms are in the office.
