FUN TIMES AT REIDENBAUGH

 

Each month we will take a look at all of the fun things our “Hoppers” are doing at Reidenbaugh. This month our 3^rd graders have been very busy! They have been utilizing our STEAM lab and equipment to collaborate and communicate and use their creative and critical thinking skills. Recently they have used problem-solving skills to unlock the Breakout EDU boxes (similar to an escape room) and they’ve coded with the Ozobots.

 

Their First Grade Book Buddies have been reading with them regularly.  It’s great to work with them!

 

Right after the winter break they worked through some New Year’s activities, rotating through each of the 3rd grade classrooms.

 

They have begun their new Science unit called Every Drop Matters where they’ll focus on the uses of water, the water cycle and water conservation.

 

They will get to use the Ozobots again to code the Water Cycle in the upcoming months, and they’ll prepare for their March Madness Poetry competition. We’re looking forward to all of the fun coming in 3rd Grade.
