Fun Times at Reidenbaugh
Each month we will take a look at all of the fun things our “Hoppers” are doing at Reidenbaugh.
Fourth Grade
Our fourth graders are quite the scientists! They have tested magnetic force, designed electromagnets and various circuits, identified the transfer of energy, investigated how various variable affected outcomes of an experiment, and so much more.
On October 31st, the entire fourth grade had “Idiom Day.” We all had a ton of fun trying to figure out the idioms people dressed up as.
Fourth graders took a virtual field trip to Angel Island, off the coast of San Francisco as a culminating activity to the story selection Kai’s Journey To Gold Mountain. Students were able to speak with a ranger and see where immigrants slept and the poems that were carved on the wall.
Students and the teachers are both enjoying morning meetings and each class in fourth grade has designed their own classroom handshake. If you see a fourth grader ask them to teach you their homeroom handshake
