Happy (almost) Spring Reidenbaugh Hoppers!
February flew by because we had so much fun and with all of the great events coming up March will fly by too.
The school play, Madagascar Jr. is under way and it is fantastic! The students, faculty, and parent volunteers have done an amazing job putting such a great show together. A special shout out to some of our Reidenbaugh faculty that went above and beyond to help make this show a success. Ms. Eyster worked with kids that had no art experience and made such amazing flats. She did so much research and spent countless hours creating a vision into a reality. Mr. Carney was always there to help with anything technical. He worked very hard to establish the light and sound capabilities. He mentored and made each member of the tech crew feel valuable, all while maintaining such a high level of quality. Mrs. Parker and Mrs. Winder were involved from the very beginning. Starting with planning meetings at the director’s house over the summer, to a marathon day of auditions and casting, to 3Xs a week rehearsals. They both have been here for anything that needs to be done: music coaching, behavior management, support on communicating, and cheerleading! Words can’t describe how amazing these faculty members have been to make the show such a success. If you are seeing the play this weekend you are in for a treat!
Our next PTO meeting will be on Tuesday, March 6th, 2018 at 7PM.
Please mark down on your calendars that we will be having an early dismissal on Thursday, March 8th at 1:40PM and we will be closed for teacher in-service on Friday, March 9th.
Our Book Fair will be starting March 21st and information will be coming home in the upcoming weeks.
It is very important for you to send in an excuse note with your child on their return from an absence. You have 3 days once your child returns to send in the note. After the 3rd day it becomes unlawful absence.
Sincerely,
Team Reidenbaugh
