Dear Neff Families,

Happy May! I can’t believe we are at this point of the school year already. Time sure flies when kids are engaged in learning! This week happens to be Teacher Appreciation Week. I know you are aware of how hard all of our staff and teachers work to support your child’s academic, social, and emotional growth. I am so appreciative of all that our teachers do. Our teachers continue to learn and grow as professionals in order to help every child reach his or her potential. Teachers get to know each child’s needs and plan lessons that will engage and challenge all kids. Thank you to all the Neff teachers and staff!

I also want to take this time to thank all of you who have donated your time in some way this school year. The school community events like our Back to School Ice Cream Social, Bingo Night, the Talent Show, the Neff Family Fun Fest, etc. are part of what makes our school so special! Many of you have worked to make these events happen or you have volunteered in your child’s classroom. Your time and effort are truly appreciated!

Congratulations to Vivian Aden, Edythe Reincke, Hassan Chaudhry, Noah Wenger, Allyssa Fuertes, Mason Wagner, Cody Abbas, Miranda Mertz, Keene Lehman, Chloe Kemmlein, Mackenzie Wagner, Jaime Wenger, Kyriakos Pitsinelis, Noelle Murphy, and Sebastian Forsythe for showing open mindedness during the moth of March. Gritty kids show open mindedness by embracing differences.

Congratulations to Ryan Usner, Cameron Miller, Piper Snellbaker, Jayden Cusumano, Kai Hurst, Emma DeHart, Sophia Sokol, Zoey Calderon, Carly Blondin, Jyzier Roman, John Enright, Eve Cashdollar, Karen Perez, Maya Tate, and Jackson Pfitzenmaier for showing tenacity during the month of April. Gritty kids show tenacity when they finish what they start!

This is a fun and busy time of the year. Many special events are planned to celebrate the year of hard work or as culminating projects. Encourage your child to enjoy them while you work together to maintain the routines of school.

Sincerely,

Travis C. Bash

Principal
