Excel Mission Statement

The Manheim Township EXCEL (Gifted Support) program will provide all identified students with differentiated learning
experiences that will enrich, extend, and challenge the academic and problem solving skills essential for personal development, responsible citizenship, and life-long learning by:

  • Encouraging higher-order thinking skills
  • Enhancing creativity and stimulating
    initiative
  • Promoting positive attitudes toward self
    and others
  • Emphasizing the processes of learning
