  • The District and all schools have made AYP since 2005.
  • Manheim Township High School had the highest SAT scores in the county in 2009.
  • Manheim Township had the second highest PSSA scores in the county in the areas of Math and Reading.
  • High School English teacher, Tammy Ficca, was named a finalist for the Pennsylvania Teacher of the Year.
  • Manheim Township High School had eleven seniors named as Commended Students in the 2010 National Merit Scholarship Program.  There were 34,000 Commended Students nationwide.
  • Reidenbaugh Elementary's Knowledge Master Open's Winter Team placed 6th in Pennsylvania and 44th among teams nationally.  The Spring Team placed 3rd in Pennsylvania and 45th among teams nationally.
  • The high school Hi-Lite staff (student newspaper) brought home top honors in several categories at the Scholastic Keystone Press Awards competition.
  • Manheim Township High School senior Michael Hibshman earned 2nd place in the Mid-Atlantic Region Division of the Being An American Essay Contest, sponsored by the non-profit group, the Bill of Rights Institute.  Hibshman's 2nd place earned him a spot in the top 18 essays of over 50,000 that were submitted to the contest.
  • An estimated 200 MT high school musicians took top honors at the annual Festival of Music Competition in Chicago. 
  • Manheim Township High School Quiz Bowl team placed 2nd at the  National Academic Championship in Washington D.C.  In addition, two middle school teams also competed in the National Academic Championship, earning 2nd and 4th place nationally.
  • Two high school engineering students earned an admirable 2nd place in the nation in the events called "Animatronics" at the 2010 National Technology Student Association.
